Erik Prather is a fifth year senior originally from St. Joseph, Illinois. He arrived to the team in 2006 after transferring from Parkland College and saw little play. In 2007 he played on several special teams, earned his first letter and was named UW scout team defensive player of the week for the Michigan game. 2008 was a big year for him also as he earned his second letter and appeared in all 13 season games as a linebacker. Prather has been lucky enough to never encounter any severe injuries and looks forward to playing during his last season at Wisconsin.
