Kossoris attended Franklin High School and was a letter winner in football and Tennis.
On the football field he was a two way stand out registering 3.5 sacks and 102 tackles and catching 48 passes for 828 yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior. In 2007 he red shirted after joining the team as a walk-on.
