Dustin Sherer ranked as one of the top fifteen quarterbacks in the United States when he played for Arcadia Hamilton Heights. His accomplishments as a high school player were quite numerous, but it is worth mentioning that he threw 61 touchdowns in total.

As a red shirt freshman, he sat out and learned how to play college ball. For 2006, he performed in two games.

He played even less ball in 2007, where he only managed to take one snap against Indiana on October 27th.

During the current season, he started at Iowa and completed 17 of 34 passes. He also played against Penn State where he passed 9-17, and had five carries. As the performance of the team has dropped, Dustin will most likely see more playing time.
