David Gilreath
David Gilreath made the top ten in high school wide receivers in Minnesota. This three-time, first team all conference champ played for Robbinsdale Armstrong High. Gilreath’s father played basketball for Cal State. Other family members played on top level college teams across the country. This is David’s second year as a Wisconsin Badger wide receiver. In his freshman year, he played in all thirteen games at that position. He ranked as a first team player across the country. As a punt return player, he averaged 14.0 yards, and broke a 60 yard return in the Badgers bowl game. During the Michigan Stage game last season, he broke a school record with 189 yards combined. Verses the Citadel, Gilreath he made Player of the Week with his 148 yards in punt return and receiving yards. In the first half of 2008, he was named the Badgers co-offensive player of the week against Indiana. On October 25th, he had 71 yards with three catches and two touchdowns.
