Moore made his debut as a Badger in the 2008 season, playing in all 13 games and earning his first letter. Already in 2009, Moore has made his first career start against Wofford setting a season-high of four tackles.

In his hometown of O'Fallon, IL, Moore was named St. Louis Post-Dispatch defensive player of the year as a senior. He served as his team's captain as a junior and a senior.
