Hailing from Kettering, OH, Borland made his debut as a Badger in the Sept. 5th game against Northern Illinois. Already this season he has set a career high of four tackles and blocked one punt which resulted in a touchdown. He made his first career tackle against Wofford on Sept. 19th and had his first career pass breakup.
As a high school student at Archbishop Alter, Borland was a four sport athlete earning letters in football, track and field, basketball, and tennis. As a senior on the football team, Borland made first team all-state and was named conference player of the year.
