As a high school player at Loveland High School in Loveland, OH, Wozniak was ranked the number 38 tight end by ESPN, number 40 by Rivals.com, number 47 by Scout.com and the number 78 player in the Midwest. As a senior, he made second team all-Ohio, first team all-conference, and received the conference all academic award. He also received a Team Leader award. In addition to being a three time letter winner in football, Wozniak was a four year letter winner in basketball where he is currently the seventh all time in points scored.
