More Info
Canadian born senior Ben Street has done much for both himself and the team throughout his four year stay with the Wisconsin Badgers hockey team. During his senior year of high school, he posted 29 goals and 68 points throughout the course of 56 game, putting him in third place on the team for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the BCHL. He made many achievements during his high school career including being titled the Provincial MVP in 2002-03 and being a member of the Pacific Team at the 2004 World Under-17 Challenge.

In his freshman year at Madison, he scored in his first career game and was one of only six members of the team and the only rookie to skate in each of the 43 games. He was also one of the six Badgers to score in double figures in the 2005-06 season. During his sophomore year, he had an amazing overtime game-winning goal with only 10 seconds on the clock at the 2007 WCHA Final Five third place game that allowed a UW comeback against St. Cloud State. He also made another great game-winning goal at the Denver game. He again skated in every game of the season and was the only sophomore to do so. In his junior year, he tied for team lead with 13 goals, four of which were game-winning. He also was a team leader with 135 shots. Street also was awarded the WCHA All-Academic for the second year in a row. During his senior year, Street was named co-captain and posted a single goal before a devastating and season ending injury. He took a medical redshirt for the remainder of the season.
